After the Split of Switzerlands Rockgroup Nr. 2 KAKTUS, Guitar Player CROWN KOCHER founded 1979 with MARK BROMAN, ALI ALLEMANN, MANY MAURER and BRIAN KOFMEHL the new SwissRock-Shock called KILLER. The Band went to the New SoundStudios, Pfäffikon for the first time in 1890, when Krokus Bassplayer Chris von Rohr produced their first Single "CRAZY DAISY". The huge power and performance of this crazy Band quickly got the attention of executive Producer Christoph Berger, who, short after the release of her first Single managed a great Deal for KILLER with german record Company BELLAPHON: 3 Longplayers and Tours for 3 Years! YEAH! Well done, Chris! The first KILLER-LP called "LADYKILLER" was recorded Spring 1981, at New Sound again. Producer "CORRY KNOBEL" and the Boys left a real "Smasher" and with theyr Hymns "MIDNIGHT HIGHWAY RIDER" and "GET OUT OF MY LIFE"

They sold over 12000 LPs in the first Quarter 1981. The Gigs became greater... Well equipped with a large King-Size P.A. and a giant lightshow, KILLER reached the Nr. 2 Status in Switzerland after their Compatriots KROKUS... strange Thing! WHY do they all come from SOLOTHURN, the City of Heavy Metal...? With the next Album called THRILLER, the Band released 1982 their best ever recorded Songmaterial, as most people say! Reason enough for the Swiss Television, to produce a large LIVE Video Coverage with KILLER in Servion (GE) and German Top-Producer MIKE LECKEBUSCH ordered KILLER for a LIVE-Gig in the legendary BEAT-CLUB in Bremen, Germany!

Sometimes in October '82 KILLER received the fantastic and incredible message from its Manager Chris Berger: YOU'RE TOURING WITH MOTORHEAD! ...YEAH! 3 weeks in Germany as Supporting-Act with one of the most incredible bands on Earth! This was the MEGA-Event in its career and KILLER was very happy and proud. Despite increasing popularity, KILLER's third Album STRONGER THAN EVER released 1983 did not contribute to the Band's final breakthru and a new tour with Motörhead in Autumn 1983 has been cancelled after the first Gig in Stuttgart, Germany! Official reasons: Sickness of Motörheads Guitar-Player... After this dissapointing experience, the members of KILLER split and them all founded their own Group. Guitar Player JAN VAN CROW has recorded another Album called "YOUNG BLOOD" with three new Musicians, the weakest of all KILLER Albums, measured on sellings, but however the KILLER-Album with a new singer performance on it... Poor Album-sellings and several problems around the band meant the end of KILLER in 1994. That's Rock 'n Roll....

What - for god‘s sake - is the reason for five older gentlemen to rejoin 18 years after her separation for a single gig?? Well… there are several reasons for it: The „Kulturfabrik KOFMEHL“ in Solothurn is celebrating her 10th anniversary of this club and it‘s now 20 years ago, that KILLER wasted several concert halls at her Germany tour with Motörhead in 1982.
