October 28 1982 - The great day has come... after a few hundred speedy Kms on the german highways, we arrived with jibbering knees at Circus Krone München. The first meeting with Motörhead was quite funny: I went directly to the toilet for a piss and guess who was there: LEMMY! I said to him: "Hey Man, I'm the guitar player of your supporting Act!" Lemmy answered: Nice to meet you, even when it's on the toilet!... After this first master event, he took me to his wardrobe and introduced me in the holy secrets of Motörhead.

He offered me the famous "LEMMY SPECIAL" concerning 80% SMIRNOFF and 20% Orange-Juice, just for the color! 20PM... our first Gig! About 2500 people were waiting for a hot evening. In deed, it's a very special feeling, when you walk onto a stage with that many people the first time... usually we had about 500.. From the first note, the people was headbanging to our songs, even when we were not that famous at this time in Germany. We had a tremendous gig and if that time my pyro effect button had worked, that would be fine...
